Many of the descendants of Geroge & Fidelia Baker had not yet met when they began planning their Wisconsin reunions in a Facebook Group. When they decided they wanted tee shirts to identify to which branch of the family each belonged, they realized they’d need a website for ordering the shirts. There are 16 branches to this family tree! The shirt ordering could have been pretty complicated with all those shirt colors, the main print being black or white and a secondary color that also changed based on the tone of the shirt color. But the site made it really simple: it forced each family member to give all the needed information while also allowing them to pay for the shirts and decide if they wanted their shirt to ship to themselves or the reunion. We also provided a print-friendly order form for those not comfortable ordering online. Fist bump to Kelly at Blue Crab Graphics for turning a complicated order for about 75 shirts into beautiful boxes of goodness! The ink colors all pop on the variety of shirt colors, registration is tight: An excellent job – she really made our design look great! Once the site was live, the family decided to use it to create a connecting book after the reunions.
