Hot, New Hangout Opens in Chinook!

The Columbia River Roadhouse (aka C.R. Roadhouse) had its grand opening yesterday in Chinook.  Just 20 minutes from Astoria, Oregon, or Long Beach, Washington, the restaurant and sports bar is destined to be a favorite hangout for people from both sides of the Columbia River.

The C.R. Roadhouse is another project of the dynamic duo Chris Summerer and Russell Maize, who own a number of gift and clothing shops in Long Beach, as well as the popular Castaways Seafood Grille downtown.  They’ve outdone themselves with the Roadhouse decor and food, which has a southern flair.

Keleigh and Wendy provided some expertise in social media marketing and also claimed the restaurant’s place in a number of platforms.  Social Media will play an important role in the marketing plan for the C.R. Roadhouse after the initial flurry of opening activity.

Keleigh built a website to tease construction activities and update future patrons as opening information became available.  The site continues to serve as a recruitment tool for staff and to showcase early photos of the venue in action.   Take a peek now, and come back over the next several months as the site transforms from its basic beginnings to being truly representative and a strong marketing tool.
