Blues and Seafood is the most hip and happenest event on the Ilwaco Waterfront!
In its ninth year, Blues and Seafood is bigger and badder than ever with more than 10 performance acts. Residents and visitors alike enjoy spectacular local seafood (BBQ Oyster Bar!) along with the beer and wine garden. Head to the Port of Ilwaco Friday and Saturday, September 23 & 24, 2016 from 3:30 – 10pm and fill your soul with music!
The event website needed a bit of a code facelift to make it mobile-friendly and take advantage of changes in monitor resolution since it had been built. Since it was already built in WordPress, we were able to do a quick conversion by mimicking the existing look and feel in a new theme, then added some functional plug-ins and re-formatted the page information to match. Since we updated with 2016 musical act information at the same time, the entire process was very efficient – and cost effective.
The result is a rockin’ new Blues and Seafood site! Thanks to great photography provided by the performers and local photographer and event organizer Bruce Peterson, the site really shines.
