One of our servers, Merton, is experiencing problems caused by a denial of service attack. At this time, we are enabling hardware protection to help mitigate the attack. You may experience intermittent connectivity problems with the sites on this server until the attack subsides.
There is a huge amount of inbound traffic targeting the server and the front end firewall protection has been unable to fully mitigate the large level of traffic. At this time the server’s main IP address has been temporarily null routed, and we will continue checking server traffic and the null route will be lifted once traffic has reduced to defensible levels. Please stand by, we’ll update you here as information becomes available.
