Sorry about not posting but I’m now an official government employee and it’s been keeping me busy. I know remember why I retired. It’s temporary employment but very interesting.
Glen’s doing well and Genghis is keeping him company when I’m gone. We all still miss our girl Maxi very much.
Promise to post some pictures soon.

We’ve lost several months of data on this
site and I will try and fix that soon. My friend
Keleigh’s server crashed, her back up crashed,
and her back up of the back up crashed.
Yes, it was Friday, the 13th.
Glen is doing fine, doing his therapy at home.
More in a day or two ….

Glen and his Coast Guard Auxiliary buddy Glenda traditionally have made apple pies for the CGAux Thanksgiving Dinner for the coasties who are on base. Here’s a few pix of them enjoying “cooking ” — notice no Marie. Enjoy your Turkey!

Hi Everyone
Just to keep you up to date on things, Winter has arrived on the Peninsula and the rain will be with us til March or April. Come visit in May!
Glen is still doing 3 therapies twice a week and his Ophthalmologist pronounced his eyes perfect. Therefore, be aware that he will be retaking his Driver’s Test tomorrow morning in the green ‘Burban in Ilwaco, Washington. He was practicing on Sunday and didn’t hit anything (except maybe branches and a mailbox). I will let you know tomorrows’ results.
******Licensing Departments are the same in every State — wait, wait, your turn, you’re logged into the computer, he staples a few things and says, it’s Thanksgiving week, come back on Friday, December 5th to take your written test. More next week.
Happy Thanks - giving to all.

We had a lovely visit from our son Bob last weekend. Traveled from Boston to visit his dad and see how he’s doing. Bob even survived a meal or two cooked by Marie. Glen was delighted to see Bob. Come visit again soon (and bring some Lobsters!!).

We traveled to Portland this am in the fog and rain for our appointment with Dr. Chen. Dr Chen read the new CT scan and told us the CT scan was perfect, no sign of blood/subdural hematomas, just a normal brain. He also told us he was “very, very happy with Glen’s progress” and would like to see Glen again in March/April (when Winter’s over). Therapies should continue and so should medications. It was a great report from the great Dr Chen.

We celebrated Bonnie’s birthday at 42nd St last evening, a great time was had by all.
Glen on his daily walks, sometimes with Marie and the dogs, sometimes with Jane.
Glen’s is doing good, relearning how to write, speak, and getting his right hand working properly. He’s happy with the Therapy folks at Columbia, but still in luv with his
speech therapist from RIO Katie
That’s all for today folks.
