So what makes us beachdogs? We are top dogs in graphic arts, web development and tourism marketing. We often work with newshounds. We’re loyal, fun-loving, tourism-fetching, award-winning show dogs, barking up the right tree on your behalf. We worry on a bone until we get it right. We work like dogs. We play like pups. We’re strong supporters of our local shelter. AND, we don’t think it’s a coincidence that Sirius, the Dog Star, is the brightest star in the constellation.
Oh yeah, and we LOVE living and working at the beach!
Meet Our Team

Sue Skinner, Watch Dog
sue@beachdog.com Motto: Kibble counting is my game Usually in the kennel: M-T: 9am - 5pm, W: 9am - 4pm Guardian of the door, the phone, client records and all things in need of her outstanding people, organization and analytical skills, Sue keeps the rest of us sane. Well, she tries to. Even then, it’s only three days a week. When Sue goes on vacation, the place goes to the dogs. Sue lives with husband Gary and two gorgeous Golden Retrievers, Colonel & Bonnie (when she’s not golfing). |
Wendy Murry, Jack Russell of All Trades
wendy@beachdog.com Motto: Pooches Gracias Usually in the kennel: T: 10am - 4pm, W: 10am - 5pm, Th: 9am - 5pm Wendy comes to us with a dark and mysterious past… Not really. Truth is, she’s an awesome artist, fabulous hair stylist and parent extraordinaire, along with hubby Del, of two gorgeous children. Thanks to Wendy, the rest of us have two extra hands when we need them, which is pretty much all the time. AND, she is quite the Jake The Alligator Man expert, organizing and orchestrating his annual birthday bash on the second Saturday of August. It’s fun and freakish frivolity, Peninsula-wide. |
Sabrina Kent, Geek Dog of the Web Houndssabrina@beachdog.com Motto: “woof” is the new “meow” Usually in the kennel: M-Th: 9am - 7:30pm Smart as poodle and as enthusiastic as a terrier, Sabrina is happy as a flea in a doghouse to have two computers and three monitors on her desk (one for each of the cats she and hubby Graeme have at home?). With an unquenchable thirst for learning, and organizational talents that leap tall buildings in a single bound, Sabrina’s skill set expands more quickly than Neopolitan Mastiff’s skin. We’re thrilled to have her–and to abuse the world of dog simile in introducing her to you. |
Kathy Kidd, SEO Dog of the Web Houndskathy@beachdog.com Motto: Live in a Dog’s Moment and Wag Usually in the kennel: W: 9am - 7:30 pm Kathy identifies most with German Shepherds: loyal, playful, hardworking and smart. She’s happy as a pup with a chew toy when she’s on the computer. Embracing her inner geek, Kathy’s passions include web technology and design, making her an awfully good Web Hound and a welcome addition to our team. Want to see her gorgeous smile? Ask about Steve and the Kidd kids. Or Webkins… |

Karl Johnson, Tech Dog of the Web Hounds ![]() karl@beachdog.com Motto: “to code or not to code, that is the question.” Usually in the kennel: M-Th 8 am - 6:30 pm Greetings from planet Fantastic (located NW of the Dog Star). Karl is a bit of a show dog, always willing to get up in front of others and clown around. But don’t let that fool you, he can be as tenacious as a junkyard dog when it comes to finding the answers and solving your problems. |
Keith Schwartz, Vice President of Doodie Dutykeith@beachdog.com Motto: Stop and smell EVERYTHING (except maybe the doodie) Usually in the kennel: except when he’s not Who else do you know who enjoys research and sales as much as basking in the sun on an exotic island? His track record in website marketing and project advertising sales speaks for itself. Keith’s officially retired these days, but we keep finding him hanging out with our Underdogs, doing his magic on a project basis. When he wants time off, Keith claims “Insufficient Memory @ This Time”. |
Karadog, CEO (Chief Eating Officer)
Motto: A fool and his cookie are soon parted Usually in the kennel: if anyone is around to manipulate Kara keeps everyone in the office in a playful mood and reminds us to take our breaks (especially lunch). She will gladly greet you and share her favorite toy du jour when you visit. After spending most of her fourteen years as official greeter at a local motel and RV park, she very much appreciates visitors in the office–and knows how to convince you she’s being starved around here. Since leaving her motel job, Kara has trimmed down to 96 pounds. |
OLP (Our Little Pony)
Motto: I AM the dog and pony show Usually in the kennel: if there is a comfy bed nearby A big dog needs a big name! Perdi is a Harlequin Great Dane. She joined our pack at three months of age, in December of 2006, and quickly gained 100 pounds. Petite for her breed, our 135-pound baby is quite the mushball. The gift of Perdita earned Keith a “Get Out Of The Doghouse Free” card with no expiration date. Smart guy, that Keith. Ask Perdita to show you her favorite yoga position (downward facing dog), but only ask for a hug and a kiss if you really mean it–she does. FACTOID: Perdi’s hero is Gibson, the World’s Tallest Dog, according to Guinness World Records. |
