Great question, Susanna. Unfortunately, the answer isn't "one size fits all".

You may have a stats program and simply need help converting what I wrote about AWStats to make sense for your stats reader.

You say you have a blog; depending on the software running the site, you may be able to do something as simple as installing a snippet of code to get statistics through Google Analytics <http ://www.analytics.google.com>, which are pretty easy to understand.

For logfile statistics, you need to talk to your site's hosts as they would have to direct you to whatever program they've got installed. Once we know what that is, we can point you in the right direction in terms of putting the info to good use.

If you'd like us to walk you through your options, give us a jingle: 360-642-4431. We'll ask a few questions that will help us answer yours.

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad our site helped you a little bit!</http>

Hi- Thank you SO very much for this awesome and informative article. I have a quick question. I tried to work this method for my blog and it didn't work. (I guess I have 2 questions then...) The first question being... Does this method work for checking a blog's statistics and my next question, since I tried it and it didn't seem to work, how do I check my blog's statistics?? I would like to know if all the hard work I'm putting into it is worth it...??

Thanks for your help!
