Volunteerism, coffee and business cards
This card was designed by owner Steve Linhart and we simply prepped the art and got it printed for him. We love working with Steven. Not only is he a heck of a nice guy, he’s as committed to volunteerism as we are. You’ll find Steven working hard from his seat on the Long Beach City Council, as President of the Long Beach Merchants Association and as an At-Large Board Member for the South Pacific County Humane Society. That is, when he’s not rescuing those of us who locked the file cabinet without thought of whether we owned a key. Whadda guy.
Also in this week is a re-order of cards we designed for Diamond Espresso, a great little drive-through espresso shop here in Long Beach. As much as we try to be coffee purists around here avoiding the goodies offered alongside (well, most of us anyway), all sensibility left when we discovered Diamond Espresso carries scones from Ilwaco’s All the Tea & China. Mmmmm. You have been warned.

This blog entry reminds me…I’m going to need some biz cards for Pac Braid. It’s not that I totally forgot, it’s just that I’m not really sure about what all of the various product lines will be so I wouldn’t be able to list them out like Goodwinds does. Maybe I don’t have to. Maybe the card can be designed another way. Or, they can be made to print on a Beachdog or PB printer and can just be updated from time-to-time as product categories are added until things are stable enough to make a real order. But right now my hedgehog reminds me to stay on track with getting the more important elements of the startup completed so the business can open.

I love Diamond Espresso! My favorite cold drink is their Stinger– blended vanilla frap with two hot shots of espresso poured over top and a drizzle of chocolate. Yumo!
I use my punch card. So, every 10th one is free and somehow that one tastes even better
